How do I get to Sarangkot Superview?

Superview Lodge BnB & Restaurant is well known and easy to find. The fastest trip to Sarangkot is a taxi from Pokhara Lakeside. Expect to pay around Nrs 1000, and allow about 30 minutes for the trip. Taxi drivers will offer to drive to Sarangkot Top, or for a lesser amount Sarangkot Parking Area. If you choose Sarangkot Parking Area, the final part of the journey will be a walk up a steep stone staircase. This is the original way that all travellers arrived, with the walking part of the trip taking about 20-minutes. Now the road has been extended all the way to Superview / Sarangkot Top so some taxis will take you all the way up. The choice is yours. If you wish to walk and hike from Pokhara Lakeside you can do so. The walking trail begins at the Northern end of Lakeside. The far Northern end. It branches off the Lakeside Road to the right. The beginning of the trail is close to the Greenpeace Lodge. You can ask at the Greenpeace lodge if you are unclear about the trail. The trail is steep in places and will take about 2 to 3 hours. Many people do enjoy the experience of trekking by foot to the top.
